We will be telling the children that God loves them,
no matter what.... that they are so very special to God, just the way
they are.... and that they can depend on God in times of trouble.....
He's always there for them.... Then, we wrap it all up with the
realization that because of all of these things - they can be filled with
God's joy & peace that comes with trusting Jesus! What an exciting week
it will be!!

 

We will be telling the children that they are
chosen to belong to God and that he doesn't want anything to come between
their friendship with him.... that they can talk to God..... He wants to
be their friend - all day, everyday..... that they can trust God - he can
help them say no to peer pressure and become a light among their
friends.... and finally that we can be winners in how we live our life -
victorious and triumphant when we have Jesus in our hearts and truly try
to follow him! How wonderful it is to realize that Jesus helps us every
step of the way!

 

We will be talking about how in our search for the
treasures of life, for fulfillment, and happiness - we are so easily
misguided down wrong paths..... but Jesus is the way, the truth, and the
life. In that quest, we can also get weighed down with excess baggage,
but Jesus wants us to give him our worries & cares..... in return, he
gives us his peace. We discover that the journey involves choices. We
must guard what goes into our minds because what we fill our thoughts
with is who we will become. When we feed on God's word, we become more like Jesus. The ultimate choice involves change.... a new heart.... but
will we let God be in control? It's the great adventure & the most
precious treasure is Jesus living in us!!!
